GameThread for Game 23: Jays at Indians

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Jays play the first of four against everybody's favorite team MLB named after Native Americans (I mean everyone prefers these guys to the Barves right?). It is a beautiful stadium in Cleveland. I'd like see a game there one day. I don't think the Indians get the same number of complaints as the Redskins and they have moved the very offensive grinning Chief Wahoo to a secondary spot on their totem of logos.

Anyway, the Jays are 10-12, so they can't finish April at .500, but I'd be ok if they were just a game under .500 for the month.

There is rain in the forecast and it is cold in Cleveland.

Danny Valencia plays right field today. I guess Gibby likes his arm. Diaz plays his first game for the Jays this season.

Remember we have rules here. Mostly don't be terrible (it seems like a small thing to ask). No arguing with the Mods, you have a problem, email me, but in the thread, let's not debate rules.
