GameThread: Reds vs. Blue Jays in Montreal

Eric Bolte-USA TODAY Sports

Even with the Jays losing (and not giving us any offense to cheer about) yesterday's game had a number of great moments.

I thought that having Russell Martin's father playing the National Anthems on the saxophone was very nice. Montreal showed a lot of love for Martin during the game.

The best game moment for the Jays, was Josh Donaldson making a diving stop and throw on a ball down the third baseline. Beyond that, the Jays didn't give us all that much to cheer about.

I have to get moving to get to the subway for the ride to the game. After this afternoon's game, we are going to Pitch Talks, here in Montreal.

SB Nation is hosting a $6,000 one-day Fantasy Baseball league for MLB Opening Day on FanDuel. It's $5 to join and first place wins $1,000 and four tickets to a game.
