Baseball is back and so is the Around The Nest podcast hosted by the Voice of the Lansing Lugnuts, Jesse Goldberg-Strassler. Every week, Jesse will go up and down the Blue Jays' minor league system to talk to the broadcasters from each full-season affiliate (the podcast will expand to include the short-season clubs when those teams start playing) for a review of all the key happenings at each level.
Episode 1, titled "Everybody ought to have a roster", aired yesterday and focused on the recently-released minor league rosters. Jesse is joined by the triple-A Buffalo Bisons' Ben Wagner, double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats' Bob Lipman, and advanced-A Dunedin's new broadcaster Marshall Kelner.
