It's a beautiful holiday Monday morning, in my part of the country. I hope you are all celebrating Victoria Day in traditional style, perhaps going for a swim in five layers of clothing.
Some of us, in the west, like to sleep in. Then, when we get up, all you Easterners on Twitter, try to play a practical joke on us. Todd Redmond's starting.....like even in my sleep deprived state I'm going to fall for that one.

You do have to admire the lengths they are going to play this particular trick. That really looks like a lineup card.
You'll note that Devon Travis is being held out for another day, at least on this fake lineup.
The Blue Jays beat reporters, who are running this little gag, are trying to see it as an slide in start to give the 'real' starting 5 an extra day off, this time through the rotation. Redmond hasn't been starting in Buffalo but threw 80 pitches in this last relief appearance.
They are also saying that Jose Bautista will try throwing today (I'm surprised they didn't add that he'd be the first guy out of the pen, might as well really run with the joke).
Also Jose Reyes will take batting practice again today and we should hear the plan for his rehab starts. Hoping that the rehab will be short, I'm running out of patience for watching Goins bat 4 times a game.
