The first of 3 against the White Sox. I'd love a series win.
We have one Jose back in the lineup, Reyes is back leading off, and one Jose not in the lineup, Bautista out after the cortisone shot.
Bautista says he has inflammation that caused an impingement in his shoulder joint. Says he has had "throbbing pain" at night …

Apparently the options were the shot or 'exploratory surgery', I don't think I'd want surgery if I could help it. He says he could bat tonight, but best to wait a day or two. He hopes to play in RF next week when the Jays are in Washington.
The title comes from These Things I've Come to Know, a great song off James McMurtry's album Complicated Game.
GO JAYS GO!
