Buffalo Recap
Buffalo got a decent start, but couldn't find enough offense to beat Indianapolis in a 2-1 loss. Buffalo hit in to 3 double plays early in the game after having runners on quickly, and that was part of what cost them the game. Buffalo ended up with 5 hits and 4 walks, while striking out 7 times. Indianapolis finished with 9 hits and 5 walks and also struck out 7 times. Buffalo went 0-7 with runners in scoring position, although the pitchers did a good job of limiting Indianapolis to 2-14 in the same category
- Daniel Norris started and allowed 2 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks over 6.1 innings. Norris recorded 4 strike outs to go with 9 ground outs against 3 fly ball outs. Norris threw 94 pitches, 61 were strikes
- Gregory Infante followed with 1.2 innings of scoreless relief. He didn't allow a base runner and struck out 2
- Bo Schultz pitched an eventful, scoreless inning, giving up 2 hits and walking a batter intentionally. Schultz recorded a strike out and got a double play with the bases loaded

- Munenori Kawasaki had a double and scored the Herd run. He also struck out twice
- Dioner Navarro went 0-1 with 2 walks and a sac fly

New Hampshire Recap
New Hampshire decided that they wanted to play a high scoring affair with Reading, as the teams scored early and often in a 12-10 Reading win. New Hampshire scored more early, but Reading kept adding runs as they scored in 5 straight innings, including 3 3-run at bats. New Hampshire had 14 hits and 2 walks on the night, striking out 8 times. The Fisher Cats also made 3 errors which led to 2 unearned runs. Reading pounded out 21 hits and walked 4 times. They also struck out 5 times on the night. Reading also made 3 errors, which also led to 2 unearned runs. As you can imagine, it wasn't a pretty game from a game score perspective, as the two starters combined for an 11
- John Anderson started and allowed 7 runs (6 earned) on 11 hits and 3 walks in 3 innings. Anderson gave up a 3-run HR, but was able to get 5 ground outs and a double play
- Dustin Antolin followed with 2 innings of relief. He allowed 4 runs (3 earned) on 6 hits
- Greg Burke threw 2 scoreless innings, allowing a walk and striking out 4
- Danny Barnes threw 2 innings, allowing a run on 4 hits and striking out 1
- Dwight Smith picked up 3 hits in the game and scored 2 runs. Smith also got an assist on a double play at 1st base
- Shane Optiz continued his little hot run with 2 doubles. Optiz also struck out 3 times
- Jorge Flores had 2 hits
- Kevin Nolan picked up 2 hits and was hit by a pitch
- Ian Parmley hit a 3-run HR, his first professional HR in over 700 at-bats

Dunedin Recap
Dunedin was able to keep the game close again with Jupiter, but wasn't able to find enough offense to win the game, as they fell 3-2. Both teams had 7 hits on the night. Dunedin took 3 walks and struck out 5 times, while Jupiter walked 5 times and struck out 3 times. The difference was 2 Dunedin errors which led to 2 unearned runs.
- Murphy Smith started and allowed 3 runs (1 earned) on 7 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings. Smith recorded 2 strike outs and got 8 ground outs to 2 fly ball outs
- Alberto Tirado followed with 2 scoreless innings. He didn't allow a hit, but walked 2 and struck out 1
- Roemon Fields had a double and scored a run
- Mike Reeves doubled and walked. Reeves also struck out once and made a throwing error in the 1st which led to a run
- Dawel Lugo, Mitch Nay, Derrick Loveless, Boomer Collins & Dickie Joe Thon all had a hit. Thon added a walk
- Alex Hassan was 0-2 but took a walk and was hit by a pitch
- Matt Dean went hitless and struck out twice
Lansing Recap
The lone bright spot for the Baby Jays, and it wasn't looking good. Lansing was able to score 4 runs in the top of 9 to come back and beat Bowling Green 6-3. Until the 9th inning, it looked like it was going to be 2 straight winless nights. Bowling Green got out early, scoring 2 in the 1st. Lansing chipped away and tied the game in the 6th, before Bowling Green went ahead in the 8th. Lansing got a bases-loaded double to erase the lead and was able to add one more before shutting things down. Lansing had 10 hits and 3 walks on the night. They struck out 5 times. Bowling Green picked up 6 hits and 5 walks, while striking out 6 times. Both runs Lansing allowed in the 1st were unearned, as they made 2 errors on the night
- Jesus Tinoco started and allowed 2 runs on 3 hits and 4 walks in 6 innings. Tinoco picked up 6 strikeouts in a solid start, as he didn't allow a hit after the 1st. Tinoco did add 2 wild pitches. Tinoco had 9 ground outs and only 1 fly ball out
- Mark Biggs got the win on 3 innings of relief. He allowed a run on 3 hits. Biggs recorded 8 ground outs including a double play
- Danny Jansen had the big hit in the 9th as he doubled in 3.
- Josh Almonte picked up 2 doubles, including one in the 9th to drive in Jansen
- Rowdy Tellez, D.J. Davis & Tim Locastro all had 2 hits in this one. Locastro picked up his 21st stolen base of the year, and made 2 errors in the field
- Anthony Alford had a hit and took a walk. He was also picked off 1st
- Ryan McBroom had 2 walks and a strike out
