The money's gone and the house is cold: GameThread for Game 53: Blue Jays @ Nationals

Game one of three in Washington, the home of Hugo (but not Hugo's mom, unless she's moved). I've been putting song lyrics in the titles of the GameThreads as a homage to Hugo, who put song lyrics in the title of all his posts. It gave the site a personality and Hugo has a great knowledge of music (and is a singer/song writer himself). Hugo would use lyrics from song writers and bands that no one else had ever heard. And generally, they were great. He got me listening to music I would have missed.

I followed suit for awhile, but SEO concerns and, how to put this, let's say forceful suggestions from the SB Nation PTB got me to stop. As well as, I've written over 6000 posts, over the years, and it's hard to come up that many lyrics.

Today's title is from Lone Bellow song called Green Eyes and a Heart of Gold, a favorite of mine.

This is going to be a tough series, facing some good pitchers and without a DH. I just want some good baseball.
