Buffalo turned a pretty rare triple play and had plenty of offense on Monday as they put up 5 multi-run innings in a 12-3 win over Indianapolis. The 1-4-3 triple play in the 5th inning came after a leadoff single and an error to put the runners on. Buffalo picked up 17 hits and 7 walks on the night, striking out only twice. Every Herd started picked up a hit, with 7 having multi-hit nights. Indianapolis had 11 hits and 3 walks on the night, striking out 5 times. Both clubs picked up an error on the night
- Randy Wolf started and allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on 7 hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. Wolf recorded 3 strikeouts. Wolf started the triple play, snaring a liner as well as getting 6 ground outs to 4 fly outs
- Chad Jenkins pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing a hit and striking out 1
- Rob Rasmussen gave up a hit and a walk in his 0.1 scoreless
- Luis Perez allowed a run on 2 hits and a walk in 1.2 innings. Perez also picked up a strike out
- Matt Hague picked up a 3 hit night, including a double. Hague also added a walk and scored 2 runs
- Daric Barton had a single, a double & 2 walks, as he scored 3 runs
- Ramon Santiago had 2 hits in his return to action
- Luke Scott & A.J. Jimenez both had 2 hits and a walk
- Chris Dickerson & Alex Hassan had 2 hit nights. Both also added outfield assists in the game
- Dalton Pompey had a triple and 2 walks from the 8-hole. It was Dalton's best effort since joining Buffalo, as he also scored 3 runs

Dunedin Recap
Dunedin's pitching staff has found the right buttons recently, as they have now thrown 2 straight shutouts, including 20 innings without a run. Dunedin squeaked past Tampa 1-0 on an unearned run in the 8th inning. A lead-off single was helped with an error and a wild pitch to set up the ever exciting sacrifice fly for the win. Dunedin had 9 hits and 2 walks, striking out only twice. Tampa had 3 hits, including a double & a triple, and 2 walks but couldn't score. Tampa batters struck out 11 times on the night. For the night, the teams combined to go 0-18 with runners in scoring position.
- Murphy Smith started and was strong again. It was Smith's 5th straight start with 2 runs or less allowed. In this one he allowed 2 hits and 2 walks over 7 shutout innings. Smith also picked up 7 strike outs
- Matt Smoral followed with a typical inning. Smoral started with a lead-off double, moved the runner to 3rd on a wild pitch, but struck out the side to erase the threat
- Chad Girodo got two outs in the 9th, but allowed a runner on an error. Girodo got a ground out back to himself and a strikeout
- Justin Shafer came in and recorded the last out on a line drive to short
- Roemon Fields had a big game, picking up 3 hits, including a triple and his 18th stolen base of the year
- Dickie Joe Thon had a single and a double for the night. Thon was also caught stealing
- Mitch Nay picked up a double and drove in the only run on a sac fly
- Christian Lopes had a single and a stolen base
- L.B. Dantzler singled in the 8th and was replaced by Ian Parmley who scored the games only run
- Matt Dean had a hit, a walk and a strike out
Lansing Recap
Lansing scored 2 in the 2nd and 2 more in the 4th and held on from there in a pitcher's duel for a 4-2 win Monday night. Lansing scored 4 runs on 5 hits, 4 walks and 3 Dayton errors. Dayton had 2 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks. Lansing struck out 8 times at the plate and recorded 6 K's of Dayton hitters
- Jesus Tinoco started and allowed 2 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks over 5 innings. Tinoco recorded 4 strike outs, 2 ground outs and 5 fly outs
- Andrew Case returned from the DL and put up 2.1 scoreless innings in his return. He allowed a walk and hit a batter
- Jose Fernandez came on and got the final 5 outs for the save. Fernandez allowed a hit and struck out 2
- D.J. Davis had a 2 hit night, scoring 2 runs
- Chris Carlson drove in 3 runs on 2 hits and a walk
- Tim Locastro picked up a hit and stole his 25th base of the year, but also struck out twice for only the 2nd time this year
- Gunnar Heidt drove in the 4th run on a sac fly
- Ryan McBroom had a 0-1 night with a run scored on 3 walks

DSL Recap
The DSL Jays got out to a quick start with 2 in the 2nd and 2 more in the 3rd, but quickly gave 4 back in the bottom of 3 as they lost 6-5 in 11 innings. The Jays picked up 9 hits and 3 walks on the night, as they struck out 11 times. The bigger concern was the 6 errors made in the game, which led to 3 unearned runs. The DSL Reds picked up 7 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 10 times. The Reds made 3 errors as well, leading to 2 unearned runs
- Guadalupe Chavez ('97 RHP) started and allowed 4 runs (2 earned) in 2.1 innings. He gave up 4 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 4
- Elio Silva ('95 LHP) followed, allowing 1 run on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. Silva struck out 2
- Jairo Rosario ('93 RHP) followed with 3 scoreless innings. He didn't allow a hit, but gave up a walk and struck out 4
- Pedro Diaz took the loss on an unearned run over 1.1 innings. He allowed 1 hit, a triple to lead off the 11th, got a pop out, then got a ground ball to 1st that ate up the 1st baseman
- Jesus Severino had 3 hits in his 2015 debut. Severino is a '97 LHH SS who is returning to the DSL. Look for him to move to the GCL if he is able to hold his own
- Sterling Guzman ('98 RHH SS) had 2 hits and a strike out
- Francisco Rodriguez ('94 RHH OF) had a solo HR in the 3rd and picked up a walk and 2 K's. He also made 2 fielding errors, including the winning run
- Antony Fuentes ('95 RHH OF) had a triple
- Norberto Obeso ('95 LHH OF) & Jesus Navarro ('98 RHH SS) added hits. Navarro
