Buffalo & Scranton/Wilkes-Barre were in a tight match when the game was suspended due to fog after the top of 5. Scranton was ahead 2-1, but the game appeared to be relatively even. Look for the resumption of the game on Tuesday, followed by a 7-inning game
- Daniel Norris had the start and allowed 2 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks. Norris struck out 3, had 3 ground outs and 6 fly outs, as well as picking a runner off. Norris had thrown 81 pitches through 5, 47 for strikes. Norris continues to be able to limit damage, but seems to be in trouble a fair bit
- Sean Ochinko had 2 hits, including a double, and drove in Buffalo's run
- Daric Barton had 2 singles and was thrown out at home on Ochinko's double
- Ramon Santiago had a hit
- Luke Scott had scored the only run after a walk

Dunedin Recap
Dunedin had 4 2-run innings in the first 6 innings of their game Monday night with Charlotte, and went on to an 8-3 win. Dunedin took advantage of 9 hits, including 4 extra base hits, and 4 walks. The D-Jays struck out 8 times at the plate. Charlotte had 8 hits and 6 walks, but went 1-15 with runners in scoring position, leaving 11 on base. D-Jay pitchers struck out 12 Stone Crabs.
- Jairo Labourt started and went 6 strong innings, allowing a run on 7 hits and 2 walks. Labourt got 6 strike outs, 7 ground outs and 3 fly outs across his start
- Matt Smoral followed and had a rough outing. Smoral allowed 2 runs on a hit and 2 walks. Smoral recorded 1 K. Smoral walked the first 2 batters he faced, got 2 ground outs to score a run, then allowed a double as his only hit to score another run, and struck out the 3rd out
- Carlos Ramirez was wild, but didn't allow a run. He went 0.2 innings with 2 walks and 2 wild pitches, as well as a strike out
- Chad Girodo came in and recorded 4 strike outs to 4 batters, 3 swinging and the last out was a backwards K
- Roemon Fields picked up 2 hits, including his 1st HR of the year. Fields drove in 4 runs but was caught trying to move up to 2nd on his 2-run single in the 6th
- Mitch Nay had a single and his 4th HR of the year, a solo shot in the 2nd. Nay also added a sac fly
- Christian Lopes had a hit and 2 walks on the night. He also scored 2 runs
- J.D. Davis & L.B. Dantzler had back-to-back doubles in the 3rd inning that led to 2 runs. Davis also struck out 3 times
- Derrick Loveless & Martin Medina both had a hit. Loveless added 2 K's
- Matt Dean & Dawel Lugo both went 0-for, but had a walk
Lansing Recap
Lansing had the bats working on Monday morning, as D.J. Davis was a monster in a 12-4 win over Peoria. Lansing picked up 12 hits and 5 walks, striking out 10 times. Peoria had 8 hits and 4 walks, striking out 9 times. For the game, Lansing had the 9 K's, only 4 ground outs and 12 fly outs, which worked in the Midwest, but wouldn't be pretty in a lot of other leagues.
- Shane Dawson started and allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 5 innings. Dawson walked 3, hit a batter and struck out 6, while getting 2 ground outs and 5 fly outs. Dawson did pick off a runner again
- Tim Mayza allowed 1 run on 2 hits and a walk in 2 innings of relief. Mayza struck out 2
- Dusty Isaacs had 2 shutout innings, allowing a walk and striking out 1.
- D.J. Davis was a monster as he went 4-5 with 2 doubles and his 3rd HR of the year, a grand slam. All told, Davis had 8 RBI and 2 runs scored. He also made an error in the field
- Richard Urena had a single & a triple and scored 2 runs. Urena also struck out twice
- Ryan McBroom singled & doubled and scored 3 runs. He had a walk and a K
- Jason Leblebijian homered for the 2nd straight day and now has 2 with Lansing. Leblebijian also had a walk and 2 K's
- Anthony Alford & Rowdy Tellez both had a single. Alford had 2 walks and a K, while Tellez had a walk and 2 K's
- Mike Reeves had a hit
DSL Recap
The DSL Blue Jays got some strong pitching and were able to get themselves back to .500 with an 8-1 victory over the DSL Padres Monday morning, in a game called after 8 innings due to rain. The Jays were able to limit the Padres to 4 hits and 3 walks on the day, striking out 7 batters. The Jays picked up 10 hits and 6 walks for their offense. The Jays also struck out 9 times
- Wilfri Aleton ('95 LHP) started and allowed a run on 2 hits and a walk over 3 innings. He struck out 1 and had 2 ground outs and 3 fly outs
- Jose Dominguez ('96 RHP) followed with 3 shutout innings. Dominguez allowed 2 hits, a walk and hit a batter while striking out 3.
- Joel Espinal ('96 RHP) pitched the final 2 innings, allowing only a walk and striking out 3
- Jesus Navarro ('98 RHH SS) picked up 2 hits and scored 2 runs
- Manuel Herazo ('95 SHH C) had 2 singles
