According to Scott MacArthur of TSN, Scott Copeland will likely start tomorrow's game against the Marlins. Though Sanchez appears to be healthy, this seems to be a way to effectively manage his innings.
Hearing the #BlueJays plan to skip Aaron Sanchez's turn in the rotation tomorrow. Innings management. #MLB #Marlins

RHP Scott Copeland is likely to be the spot starter for Wednesday. #BlueJays #MLB #Marlins

Copeland was scheduled to start tonight for the Buffalo Bisons. He is already on Toronto's 40 man roster, but a 25-man roster move will have to be made. I will guess that either Ryan Tepera or Bo Schultz end up heading to Buffalo after tonights game.
The 27-year old right-hander has played in two games for the Blue Jays, appearing as a reliever. He is a ground ball pitcher with a 1.97 ERA, 3.03 FIP and 3.29 SIERA for the Bisons this season. Tomorrow figures to be his first major league start.
Felix Doubront and Matt Boyd also seemed like strong candidates for this spot start. Due to the matchup against the Marlins, I believe Copeland is the right choice. For the season the Marlins own a 81 wRC+ against righties, but a 112 wRC+ against lefties. The fact that Copeland is already on the 40-man roster may have benefited him as well.
