Tom: Just to update it here: We get Revere for Alberto Tirado and Jimmy Cordero.. Not huge prospects. I'm not thrilled wiht Revere, but didn't cost much.
Todd Zolecki, a Phillies beat writer for MLB.com, reports that the Blue Jays have acquired outfielder Ben Revere. Ken Rosenthal reports the deal is agreed upon, pending the medical reviews.
Ben Revere will be traded to Blue Jays. @JSalisburyCSN first had Totonto's interest in Revere.

Confirming what others have reported: Revere deal between #Phillies and #BlueJays agreed upon. Teams just reviewing medicals.

At this point, it is unknown if the Revere is related to this comment from Ruben Amaro:
Ruben Amaro basically said another deal is coming w Phils getting A ball player back.

Revere, 27, has posted a .298/.334/.374 slash line this season. Per Cots, he is controllable for the next two seasons. His 2015 salary is $4.1 million. He consistently hits for a high batting average, but has low walk totals and minimal power. He is a left-handed bat, with plenty of speed and an ability to play Centre Field.
For his career, Revere has a 85 wRC+ against RHP and a 89 wRC+ against LHP. He is a useful player, but given those offensive numbers, he should probably be hitting in the bottom portion of the lineup.
Update:
ben revere close to going to jays. @ToddZolecki 1st

#BlueJays trade LHP Felix Doubront to #Athletics for cash. He was DFA'd earlier this week.
