Around The Nest Blue Jays Minor League Podcast Question Thread - Week 15

Week 15, 2015: After the Flood

Between the time Jesse Goldberg-Strassler, the Voice of the Lansing Lugnuts and host of Around The Nest, wrote his weekly show plan and the time that I had a chance to write this post, the number of Blue Jays minor leaguers traded away went from six to nine (or maybe even more once we hear who is going to Philadelphia for Ben Revere).

For those new to the site (welcome!), every week the radio broadcasters of the Blue Jays minor league affiliates come together (#ComeTogether) on the Around The Nest podcast to talk about the state of the farm system. This is your chance to ask questions to the folks who see the minor leaguers play every single day. Simply put your questions into the comments below and Jesse will try to address as many of them as he can on the air.

So needless to say, this looks to be a very, very interesting episode of Around The Nest! Click here to tune in LIVE at 5 pm Eastern.

Show summary from Jesse (from 12:36 AM):

Troy Tulowitzki, LaTroy Hawkins and David Price are now Blue Jays. Miguel Castro, Daniel Norris, Jeff Hoffman, Jairo Labourt and Matt Boyd are now elsewhere. What was the reaction in the Blue Jays' minor league system to the landscape-shaking deals? Which prospects now step to the forefront? Join the voices of the Jays' MiLB affiliates to discuss the latest insights and outcomes -- a stirring comeback for Buffalo, a four-game winning streak for New Hampshire, a pair of rallies that ended in walk-off defeats for Lansing, the start to the second half for Vancouver, and the latest fun in the Appalachian League for Bluefield.

We can add Nick Wells, Jake Brentz, and Rob Rasmussen to that list now.
