Spread your arms and hold your breath: GameThread for Game 114: A's @ Jays

Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports
We start a series with the A's tonight and see our old friends Brett Lawrie, Danny Valencia, Kendall Graveman and even Jesse Chavez and Felix Doubront. It will be good to see Brett and Danny (as long as we win).
Alex Anthopoulos was on TSN radio and said that Marcus Stroman will be stretched out to come back to the majors as a starting pitcher. You think that's a message to tonight's Jays' starting pitcher?

Today's Lineups

OAKLAND A'S TORONTO BLUE JAYS
Billy Burns - CF Troy Tulowitzki - SS
Coco Crisp - LF Josh Donaldson - 3B
Josh Reddick - RF Jose Bautista - RF
Danny Valencia - DH Chris Colabello - DH

Ike Davis - 1B Kevin Pillar - CF
Marcus Semien - SS Ryan Goins - 2B
Eric Sogard - 2B Ben Revere - LF
Kendall Graveman - RHP Drew Hutchison - RHP
The title is from a Guy Clark song, the Cape. I love the line: "He's one of those who knows that life is just a leap of faith, spread your arms and hold your breath and always trust your cape"
GO JAYS GO!

Remember we have rules here. Mostly don't be terrible (it seems like a small thing to ask). No arguing with the Mods, you have a problem, email Tom, but in the thread, let's not debate rules.
