We wondered how long the Jays would go with the 8-man bullpen, I guess till today was long enough. Aaron Loup is heading to Buffalo.
Gibby said Loup has bee "the forgotten man" in #bluejays' bullpen since trades. He's going to Buffalo to get a chance to pitch more.

Yes, he is being sent to Buffalo for his own good, that's it.
That leaves us with only 1 lefty in the pen, Brett Cecil (unless a lefty pitcher is called up from Buffalo to fill Loup's spot? Please no).
I'm hoping we'll have a real 4th outfielder. Dalton Pompey has missed a couple of days after turning his ankle. I'm going to hope he's recovered enough to be the one who will be called up Tuesday. If not him? I don't know, Thole is on the DL. [Minor Leaguer's Note: Thole came off of the DL last week.] I can't imagine they'd want to bring back Ezequiel Carrera, but I try not to out guess the Blue Jays on these things.
Bye Loup, I'm sure you'll be back September 1.
