The Blue Jays have reportedly made a series of roster moves ahead of its upcoming series in Philadelphia:
#BlueJays move to 4-man, option Drew Hutchison, bring up Matt Hague and Ezequiel Carrera: http://t.co/3r8krOXrWz

With two off days this week, the Blue Jays will seemingly use a four-man rotation to allow its best pitchers to get more starts. Toronto likely does not need a 5th starter until Saturday August 29th, so expect a Drew Hutchison call up around that time.
Matt Hague, 29, has been one of the best hitters in the International League. He is a right-handed hitter and corner infielder, who boasts a .348/.427/.482 slash line this season. With the Jays headed to an NL park, having strong offensive players on the bench to pinch hit was likely a priority.
Ezequiel Carrera, 28, will give the Blue Jays a 4th outfielder. This move also likely gives John Gibbons more flexibility in the NL park, as an outfielder may come out of the game in situations like a double switch. Carrera also provides a left-handed bat, as well as an ability to pinch run late in games.
