GameThread for Game 120: Jays @ Phillies

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports
Awww National League baseball, baseball the way God wanted it to be. Or something. I used to like NL ball better but I'm a convert.
I do like that you have to have a real working bench, with players that can actually help you win a game, when you play in the NL. In the AL, the bench seems to have a couple of guys that you would never want to see in a game, unless it is a blow out. The Jays have gone with the 8-man bullpen and 3-man bench for so long. And, half the time, there is at least one guy on the bench who is hurt and can't actually play, so instead of a 3-man bench, it's a 2-man bench. And one of the guys is a catcher who can't play any other position.
Anyway, Kevin Pillar gets a day off, we get to watch Ben Revere play CF and have our old friend Ezequiel Carrera playing LF.

Remember we have rules here. Mostly don't be terrible (it seems like a small thing to ask). No arguing with the Mods, you have a problem, email Tom, but in the thread, let's not debate rules.
