After an 11-inning, four-hour-and-32-minute game one, the Blue Jays and Yankees are going right back to the field this afternoon to play the second half of the Saturday doubleheader. The two teams might not complete all nine innings, however, there looks to be rain clouds over the Bronx all evening.
No sooner does game one end, do the skies open up and the rain comes down. Not liking the chances of game 2 starting in 30 min #bluejays

But no rain will dampen the spirits of one Marcus Stroman, who will be making his triumphant return to the Blue Jays' starting rotation after spending all season rehabbing his injured knee. If you hadn't already, spend the time between games to read Arden Zwelling's fantastic piece detailing Marcus Stroman's long road to recovery.
Here are your Blue Jays who will be lined up. Ezequiel Carrera spells Kevin Pillar, who had a pretty bad first game at the plate:
#BlueJays 9/12 Gm2 at #Yankees: Revere 7, Donaldson 5, Bautista 9, Encarnacion DH, Smoak 3, Martin 2, Carrera 8, Goins 6, Pennington 4. #MLB

The standings will change after this game, but currently the Jays are leading the Yanks by 3.5 games. Three-and-a-half. They will look to make it 4.5 tonight.
GO JAYS GO!
