With the Blue Jays being rained out and the Yankees losing last night, Toronto will enter their doubleheader against the Orioles this afternoon with a magic number of 1. That means if they win game 1 they will clinch and be the American League East division champions.
However, tomorrow will be a single-admission doubleheader so the Jays can't celebrate much before they have to suit up for game 2. Well at least, the scrubs would not get to celebrate much. Manager John Gibbons said that his regulars would not play the second game of the doubleheader if the team clinches behind game 1 starter Marcus Stroman.
Paraphrased, Gibbons said earlier in case of Wed DH if #BlueJays clinch AL East in Game 1 there'd be a skeleton Gm2 lineup. #BlueJays #MLB

If I were the manager because Gibbons is drunk on champagne and beer, I would write this lineup for game 2:
- CF Dalton Pompey
- 3B Munenori Kawasaki
- SS Troy Tulowitzki (gotta get him reps)
- DH Matt Hague
- 1B Chris Colabello
- RF Ezequiel Carrera
- LF Jonathan Diaz (give him a callup from Dunedin)
- 2B Darwin Barney
- C Josh Thole
I'll give R.A. DIckey five innings then bring in Jeff Francis for two and Chad Jenkins for two.
No, I did not forget about Bo Schultz. HE KNOWS WHAT HE DID.
