Magic Number Countdown: 1

Rick Stewart/Getty Images

With the rain out, we all became Red Sox fans. And, since we Blue Jays fans suddenly have the power to make the team we cheer win, the Red Sox beat the Yankees.

Also the White Sox beat the Royals.

We had a good day without even playing.

Magic Number to win the Division: 1

The only team left that can catch the Jays is the Yankees.

Blue Jays 6 games left:

Orioles 3 at Baltimore

Probable starters:

Wednesday Game 1: Stroman (3-0, 1.89) vs Gonzalez (9-11, 4.85)

Wednesday Game 2: Dickey (11-11, 4.00) vs Gausman (3-7, 4.49)

Thursday: Price (9-1, 2.30 as a Jay) vs TBA

Rays 3 at Tampa Bay.

Yankees 5 games left:.

Red Sox 2 at home.

Probable starters:

Wednesday: Miley (11-11, 4.39) vs Masahiro Tanaka (12-7, 3.38)

Thursday: Hill (2-0, 1.17) vs CC Sabathia (5-10, 4.82)

Orioles 3 at Baltimore.

Magic Number to clinch home field advantage throughout: 4

The Royals lost last night. They have 4 games left, they can win 95 games at most. We hold the tiebreaker over the Royals, so they have to finish with more wins than the Jays to take home field advantage from us. If we win 4 of our last 6 games or if our wins and their losses add up to 4, we would be the number one seed in the AL.

The Royals play:

White Sox 1 at Chicago

Twins 3 at Minneapolis

Magic Number for Wild Card: 0

The Jays now would be guaranteed the first Wild Card spot.
