Well, I wanted some news and this comes somewhere close to news...
#BlueJays have acquired RHP Arnold Leon from Oakland in exchange for cash considerations or a player to be named later.

Who? Good question.
Leon pitched in the majors for the first time last year, putting up a 4.39 ERA in 26.2 innings of relief work with 19 strikeouts and 9 walks. He spent more of last year in the minors, having a very good 2.95 ERA in 58 innings for Nashville, in the offense friendly PCL, with 55 strikeouts and 19 walks.
In parts of 4 AAA seasons he has 4.09 ERA (all in the PCL). In 310 innings, he struck out 263. He's also pitched 6 seasons in the Mexican league.
Minor Leaguer tells me he was optioned and recalled 6 times last year. He's now out of options. The A's DFAed him to make room for Henderson Alvarez.
And he was the pitcher on the mound when Canada and Mexico had their brawl in the 2013 World Baseball Classic.
Unwritten rules are fun.
I'd image that the odds of seeing him in Toronto are pretty slim but you never know.
