Poll time: Who would you pick as ALDS MVP?

Let’s pick our ALDS MVP.

As much as I think Rougned Odor and Elvis Andrus should be considered, let’s stick to Blue Jays players.

Ezequiel Carrera: Hit .333/.429/.583 with 4 runs, 1 home run, 1 RBI, 2 walks, 1 steal. He seemed to be in on almost all the big moments of the series. He had an up and down season, hot at the start, cold in the middle (with some time in the minors) and then hot at the end. If Mazara  didn't make that great catch on his fly ball, to the right field corner, this poll likely wouldn't be a horse race, he'd win easy.

Josh Donaldson: Hit .538/.571/.846 with 4 doubles, 4 runs, 3 RBI, 1 walk. Plus some very nice plays on defense (that barehanded pickup yesterday was one of the plays of the year). And, of course, there was the run last night.

Edwin Encarnacion: Hit .417/.500/.917 with 2 home runs, 4 runs, 4 RBI, 2 walks. Another guy that seemed to be in on almost every big moment in the games.

Troy Tulowitzki: Hit .462/.462/.846 with 1 triple, 1 home run, 2 runs, 5 RBI. The triple, in game one, was huge. And he made some great plays with the glove too.

Melvin Upton Jr.: Hit .333/.429/1.000 with a double, home run, 1 run, 1 RBI, 1 walk. Not really a candidate, but....2 extra base hits in 6 at bats? Of course, not making that catch on the track in the second game was a sad moment.

Marco Estrada: 8.1 innings of 4 hit ball, almost a shut out. He could have had a complete game, but I think it was nice that Gibby let Ryan Tepera have those 2 playoff outs on his resume. I’m sure it was a big moment for him. Marco

Roberto Osuna: 0.00 ERA, a win and a save. 3.2 innings of work in two games. He allowed just 1 hit and had 4 strikeouts. Pretty great for a guy that we weren’t sure would be able to pitch this series. If he couldn't have pitched, this might have been a different series. I'll admit I was pissed at the TBS commentators saying that Osuna was gassed yesterday. He looked pretty good to me. They kept on the 'he's pitched so much lately', ummm yeah, it's October and he's a closer, he's going to pitch.

So give us your vote.

And excuse me for a bit.....I have to check into flights to Toronto or Cleveland....
