Blue Jays Spring Game Thread versus Detroit Tigers

The Blue Jays look to improve to 13-4 on the spring, playing on the road against the Detroit Tigers.

Good news, there is baseball on again today. Bad news, it's not going to be televised.

Drew Hutchison will be taking the hill in hopes of gaining an edge in the race for the final spot in the rotation. The Jays will be facing a very familiar opponent in former Blue Jay, Daniel Norris.

In off the field news, the Blue Jays have reworked the contract of manager John Gibbons to eliminate the rollover clause that would have kept him under contract for the 2018 season.

Take that for what you will.

The starting lineup features a nearly starting cast of players with the exception of Edwin Encarnacion who still has yet to step foot on a spring training field.
