It's decision day for the Toronto Blue Jays and it turns out that Aaron Sanchez will start the season in the Blue Jays starting rotation.
The team announced that Gavin Floyd will be relegated to the bullpen.

Drew Hutchison was also unsurprisingly assigned to minor league camp after a solid spring as the Jays have the benefit of some rotation depth after entering the off-season with several question marks.
This presumably means that Sanchez should get a start in one of the two games (likely Saturday) in Montreal. He is also scheduled to start tomorrow for his final Spring outing in a split squad game which could have been another clue as to how the rotation battle would shake out.
Teammate Marcus Stroman was pleased at the news as well. Actually, he broke it seconds before the media did.
Some more news from John Gibbons says that Sanchez will transition to the bullpen later in the season to manage his innings. This is an encouraging move as opposed to having him shut down completely. He has proven he can be a very effective reliever at the back of a bullpen.
John Gibbons says Aaron Sanchez won't be on rotation whole season to manage workload. Will go to pen after. #BlueJays— Shi Davidi (@ShiDavidi) March 28, 2016
