Blue Jays 3 Twins 4

The last Florida spring game was so exciting that I didn't realize it had finished. I was listening to the broadcast and then, after a bit, I noticed the sound was off.

Pitching:

  • Ryan Tepera: 1 inning, 3 hits, 1 earned, 2 strikeouts. He wasn't impressive. 2.45 spring ERA.
  • Drew Storen: 1 inning, 3 hits, 2 earned. He didn't look good either. 3.86 ERA.
  • Brett Cecil: 1 inning, 2 srikeouts. Now he was good. 7.71.
  • Gavin Floyd: 1.2, 1 hit, 1 strikeout. They said he 'touched' 95 with his fastball. He looked good. 1.93.
  • Roberto Osuna: 1.1, 2 strikeouts. Very impressive. 2.45/.
  • Tim Mayza: 1.0,1 hit, 2 strikeouts. 0.00/
  • Colt Hynes: 0.1, 1 hit, 1 strikeout, 1 earned.
  • John Stilson: 0.2, 1 hit, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts.
Hitters. No hitter that made the roster played today.
  • Roemon Fields: 1 for 5. .286 spring BA.
  • Andy Burns: 1 for 4, .308. Also managed to get himself picked off at first base.
  • Domonic Brown: 2 for 4, double. .231.
  • Casey Kotchman: 1 for 4. .286.
  • David Adams: 0 for 2, 2 walks. .355.
  • K.C. Hobson: 0 for 4, 2 strikeouts. .000.
  • Jio Mier: 1 for 4, 2 strikeouts. .333.
  • Humberto Quintero: 0 for 2, walk. .111.
  • Melky Mesa: 1 for 3. .333.
The Jays have tomorrow off, then play in Montreal Friday and Saturday. Then Sunday real baseball! Yay.

The Jays are now 17-6-1 on the spring.
