Phillies 6 Blue Jays 9

Still unbeaten this spring, too bad the games don't count.

  • Drew Hutchison: 2 innings, 1 hit, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts, 2 hit batters. He was ok, he did seem to be getting squeezed in the second inning,  when he gave up a run on a single, walk and 2 hit batters. The one hit batter, well, he might have got hit on his back foot, maybe. The good news is that he kept the ball down.
  • Steve Delabar: 1 inning, 1 hit, 1 unearned run. He had errors made behind him, on consecutive 1-out ground balls.
  • Ryan Tepera: 1 inning, 3 hits, 1 earning, 1 strikeout. He didn't impress.
  • David Aardsma: 1 inning, 1 home run.
  • Arnold Leon: 1 inning, 1 walk, 1 strikeout.
  • Conner Greene: 1 inning, 1 walk, 3 strikeouts!
  • Scott Diamond: 1 inning, 1 hit, 1 strikeout.
  • Wil Browning: 1 inning, 3 hits, 2 earned, 3 strikeouts.
  • Troy Tulowitzki: 1 for 3, started the game with a home run.
  • Josh Donaldson: 0 for 1, walk.
  • Chris Colabello: 2 for 2, infield single, double. Hard hit double. Nice to see him make good contact.
  • Michael Saunders: 3 for 3, 2 home runs, 5 RBI. His first at bat, he pulled a pitch, home run length but just foul and I was happy to see him make good contact. Same at bat he hits a home run. Next at bat he hits another home run. his 3rd at bat was a single hit the other way. It is good to see him able to hit the ball hard.
  • Junior Lake: 1 for 3, double. He made a very nice catch in center.
  • Darwin Barney: 1 for 2, walk. Seems like a let down. He also made an error.
  • Josh Thole: 1 for 3, double, strikeout.
  • Ezequiel Carrera: 0 for 3. He seems to be the guy Buck is talking up this spring.
  • Jio Mier: 1 for 3. And an error.
The Jays are now 4-0-1 this spring.
