Game #14 GameThread: This is too early for baseball

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

So who's idea was it that we have a morning game? I'm in Alberta, which means it is a 9:00 AM start. Baseball shouldn't happen at 9:00 in the morning. I'm putting this together Sunday night, because I might sleep through the start of the game. I'm taking my son and girlfriend to the airport early early in the morning and will try to go back to sleep when I get back.

We have J.A. Happ starting. Happ sometimes lulls me into sleep when the game is at a reasonable time. This is Happ's 3rd start. He went 6 innings in both. He's given up a lot of baserunners, 14 hits, 4 walks and a hit batter but only 3 earned runs.

It's also Sunscreen Boy's 3rd start. He's allowed 10 runs in 9 innings of work, giving up 11 hits, 3 home runs, 6 walks with 9 strikeouts. We need someone to flex our offensive muscle against. I think Clay would be a good choice.
