Well this one surprises me. Pat Venditte is being shipped back to Buffalo, Ryan Tepera takes his place on the Blue Jays roster and in the bullpen.
Venditte hasn't been good, 7.36 ERA in 5 appearances, covering 3.2 innings. He allowed 5 hits, 4 walks with 2 strikeouts. He's fun to watch but I'd rather he be, you know, good. Personally I think he should pick and arm and throw with it, his left one I would guess. I don't think going back and forth really helps.
Tepera hasn't been good in Buffalo. 7.27 ERA (you can get called up to the majors with a ERA over 7? I would have thought there would be a rule against that.). In 8 appearances. 8.2 innings, 12 hits, 4 walks and 7 strikeouts.
Actually, Ryan gave up 5 runs in his last appearance, so that jumped his ERA from 2.45 to 7.27.
Welcome back Ryan.
