Around The Nest Blue Jays Minor League Podcast - Week 1: At some point, we'll play baseball

Baseball is back in the major leagues and (some of) the minor leagues and that means that Bluebird Banter's official Blue Jays minor league podcast Around The Nest is returning for another season of prospect chatter. Around The Nest is hosted by the Voice of the Lansing Lugnuts Jesse Goldberg-Strassler and features guest appearances from the radio broadcasters from each active level.

Mark your calendars: the podcast can be streamed live every Friday at 4 pm Eastern.

This week we'll hear Jesse from class-A Lansing, Ben Wagner the triple-A Buffalo Bisons, Tyler Murray from the double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats, and the new guy Spence Siegel from A-advanced Dunedin. We're happy to see Tyler return to Around The Nest after spending last year with the Daytona Tortugas.

Spence will be the only one who will be able to talk about actual gameplay (listen in for an analysis of Conner Greene and Anthony Alford's season debuts), as various forms of precipitation intervened on the opening days of the other affiliates. However the beginning of the season is a good time to talk about the makeup of the four rosters in general.

Every week Jesse also takes select questions from Bluebird Banter commenters, so if you have a pressing query just reply below and he might address it on air!

My question this week: What do radio broadcasters do when the game is postponed due to rain or snow?
