We made it to the mid-point of the season. It seems to have flown by.
The Cleveland Indians are in town, and we are meeting them at a bad time. They have a 12 game winning streak going. Shapiro's old team is first in the AL Central, with a 6 game lead over the Royals.
They have the best pitching in the AL, allowing 3.45 runs per game (Jays are at 3.97) and they are fourth in scoring at 4,90 runs per game (Jays are 4,78).
I am still in Denver for a couple more days, checking out what there is to see and do around here that isn't baseball related, so I'll miss out on the game today.
