Blue Jays call up Matt Dominguez

The Blue Jays made a roster move this morning, sending Ryan Tepera back to Buffalo and calling Matt Dominguez back to the big league team.

This move makes me think that Josh Donaldson's thumb injury is a little worse than we were lead to believe. The good news is that he hasn't been put on the DL, but you wouldn't bring up Dominguez if Donaldson was expected to be ready to play in the next couple of days.

Matt played 3 games with us, back in April, going 0 for 7 with a walk. In Buffalo he hasa .287/.333/.419 line with 5 home runs, 10 walks and 28 strikeouts in 183 PA.

I think this is the third trip back to Buffalo for Tepera. He's pitched 3.1 innings with the Jays, has allowed 5 hits, 3 walks with 2 strikeouts.

Welcome back Matt, you'll forgive me if I hope that you don't get all that much playing time, I'm hoping Josh is back in the lineup soon.
