Guess who forgot it was a day game today?
I planned a bike ride for this morning, then take a quick look and find out that, at least for us in the west, it's a morning game. I guess there is time to go after the game.
The cancer ride people finally released the route for the ride, just yesterday. The promised 100 k ride is now 114 k, each day. First 50 k is basically uphill. And I'm really not in shape for it. Oh well, a friend said that there is no hill so steep that you can't walk your bike up it. I'm going to be walking my bike a far bit.
The good news is I have 12 hours to finish, and I'm going to use every minute.
Anyway, today, RA goes on short rest, mostly to give Russell Martin a day off. And we have a new reliever. One that remembers the Kennedy assassination. Well, not quite, but he turned on the day he was traded. Bo Schultz is the one going down to make room for Joaquin Beniot. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have Schultz, but we'll see.
GO JAYS GO!
As always, remember we have rules around there. Mostly it's "don't be terrible". If a moderator ask you to stop doing something, please stop, don't debate the rules in the thread. Send Tom a note instead (he doesn't get near enough email).
