Around the Nest Blue Jays Minor League Podcast - Week 19: Monzon Season

This week we will be having another full slate of Blue Jays minor league broadcasters for the Around The Nest podcast, hosted by the one and only Jesse Goldberg-Strassler, the Voice of the Lansing Lugnuts. The live broadcast starts at 4 pm Eastern but you can catch an archived copy of the show at any time at the link below.

Today’s show description from Jesse:

The Triple-A Buffalo Bisons won a nine-inning game in 121 minutes (a gem from Scott Diamond!); Richard Ureña knocked three triples in one game for the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats; Jon Harris twirled a seven-inning complete game for the A-Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays; Carl Wise and Lane Thomas return to the streaking Single-A Lansing Lugnuts, who have won five straight games; Patrick Murphy continues to impress for SS-A Vancouver; and Cuban signee Javier Monzon enjoys a monstrous performance for Adv. Rookie Bluefield. Enjoy the latest news, notes and insights from around the Blue Jays' organization with the radio voices of the system!

If you have any questions about Blue Jays prospects or the minor league system, simply put them in the comments below and Jesse and his guests will answer as many as they can!

My question: I read last week that the Blue Jays minor league coaches have mandatory vacation days they have to take during the year. Are they glad to take the time off or are there workaholics?
