The Blue Jays, Orioles, and Red Sox are all in action tonight at different times. The Blue Jays take on the Astros at 8:10 PM ET, with Marco Estrada up against Collin McHugh in game three of a four game set. McHugh gave up ten hits and eight earned runs in his last start, without even making it out of the second inning. It looks like John Gibbons has tweaked the lineup a bit, as Devon Travis starts things off in the leadoff spot:
As you can see, Troy Tulowitzki remains out of the lineup yet again. Melvin Upton Jr. takes the place of Justin Smoak, which also gives Michael Saunders a day off from the field. The Blue Jays could have their complete starting lineup for the series finale tomorrow, as it looks like Tulowitzki will be ready to return to action.
A win, combined with an Orioles loss, would give Toronto a share of the division lead. The Orioles are set to take on the Texas Rangers at 7:05 PM ET, and will run into an ace in Cole Hamels. The southpaw has allowed just two earned runs over his last three starts, and will be up against Kevin Gausman, who struggled greatly against the Blue Jays on July 29th.
The Red Sox play late tonight, taking on the Seattle Mariners at 10:10 PM ET. Rick Porcello takes the mound for Boston, and he's coming off a complete game victory against the Los Angeles Angels. He will be up against Hisashi Iwakuma, who is having a bit of a down season.
