It's the final regular season game of the year tonight at the Rogers Centre. A win would go a long way to ensure October baseball is played north of the border in 2016.
Marcus Stroman faces Ubaldo Jimenez in the rubber match, and Devon Travis returns to the lineup as the second baseman. Both starting pitchers are coming off a scoreless performance in their last start, but will be in tough against two of the most powerful lineups in baseball.
Elsewhere around the league, the Tigers wrap up a four game series at home against the Cleveland Indians today. The game is currently in a rain delay, but former Blue Jay Daniel Norris is set to take on fellow southpaw Ryan Merritt.
Ezequiel Carrera leads off for the Blue Jays yet again following consecutive multi-hit games. Jose Bautista will get the day off from the field, as Michael Saunders shifts over to right field.
