So it isn’t going to be a perfect spring.
Casey Lawrence had a good start, pitching 2 scoreless innings, giving up a single and a walk but getting a double play. He pitched around a Jake Elmore error.
Also having scoreless innings: Lucus Harrell, Chris Rowley, Ryan Borucki and Jarrett Grube.
Jeff Beliveau had a rough outing, 3 hits, 2 walks, 2 earned, 1 strikeout, while getting just 1 out. Not good.
Glenn Sparkman also had a rough time. 1 inning, 4 hits, 4 earned.
Wil Browning gave up the other run in his inning.
On offence:
- Richard Urena: 1 for 3, double, run, strikeout.
- Jake Elmore: 3 for 3, all singles, RBI. He also made an error and was picked off.
- Darrell Ceciliani: 2 for 3, 1 double.
- Rowdy Tellez: 1 for 2, walk, ground rule double, 2 runs, 1 RBI, strikeout. Made a nice catch down the right field line from first.
- Anthony Alford: 1 for 3, double, RBI, strikeout.
- Reese McGuire: 1 for 3, walk, double, RBI.
- Dwight Smith: 0 for 2, walk, steal, RBI.

Tomorrow the Jays have two games. In Dunedin against the Philles (which will be on TV) and in Tampa Bay against the Yankees.
