Another Update (more good news):
The Jays put out this press release:
Toronto Blue Jays left-handed pitcher T.J. House was struck by a line drive in the back of the head during today’s spring training game against the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, Florida. House, who was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center by ambulance, did not lose consciousness at any point. Results from testing have been normal. He will remain in hospital overnight for observation.
Update (good news):
I appreciate everyone who reached out through social media and texts/calls. I hope to be back out doing what I love soon. Much love!

Today’s Blue Jays spring training game had a scary finish.
T.J. House took a John Hicks line drive off his head. He went down and stayed down for at least 20 minutes before being put on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance. They called the game after, with 1 out in the bottom of the 9th.
He gave a ‘thumps up’ as he was being carried to the ambulance, so there is some good news. Reports say there was some blood, but then I can’t imagine there wouldn’t be.
Mike Wilner said the ball hit House and ricochet pretty much straight up, so it wasn’t a glancing blow.
House is 27.
T.J., a Jays minor league signing with a spring invitation, is in the battle for the second lefty job out of the bullpen.
We can only hope the best for him.
Some good news:
Blue Jays manager John Gibbons says TJ House was talking after the incident. Gibbons also says House indicated "he could feel everything."

This quote isn’t so good:
Tigers manager Brad Ausmus says TJ House was "bleeding quite a bit. There was blood on his face, blood in his glove, everything."
