A bad day for a number of our pitchers. Marco Estrada, Aaron Sanchez, J.P. Howll and Lucas Harrell all gave up 2 earned runs each.

And our batters didn’t do much, just 5 hits and 1 walk on the day.

But there was some good news: T.J. House was released from hospital. “No fractures or anything”.

  • J.P. Howell: 1.0, 2 hits, 2 walks, 2 earned, 2 k. His second bad appearance of the spring.
  • Lucas Harrell: 0.2, 3 hits (all 3 were doubles), 1 k, 2 earned.
  • Jeff Beliveau: 1.1, 3 hits.
  • Leonel Campos: 1.0, 1 walk, 2 k.

Batters:

  • Kevin Pillar: 2 for 2, walk, double. .500.
  • Tulowitzki: 0 for 3, k. Still hasn’t had a hit this spring.
  • Melvin Upton: 0 for 3, k. .133.
  • Christian Lopes: 1 for 1, double.
  • Justin Smoak: 1 for 2, RBI. .143.
  • Rowdy Tellez: 1 for 1, RBI. .273.
