2017 Predictions by Siefert

NL East: Nats (Mets pitching is great, but no offense)
NL Central: Cubs (Just too solid)
NL West: Dodgers (All around potential)
NL Wild Cards: Cards (Still hanging around the top) & Braves (Surprise with all those 1 year deals)

Braves over Cards (Dickey with a big performance)
Cubs over Braves (This was a one game thing, Braves are done after that)
Dodgers over Nats (Pitching beats hitting in this one)
Cubs over Dodgers (Joe Maddon wins MVP)

AL Central: Indians (The Central is weak this year)
AL West: Mariners (This one is going to be tight, but I think there will be 4 teams within a couple games of .500)
AL East: Jays (Think there is a little money to bring in some reinforcements later & Sox pitching isn't there)
AL Wild Card: Red Sox (Still formidable) & Yankees (The rest of the AL isn't pretty, but they beat the Rangers in game 163)

Yankees over Red Sox (Sale pitches like playoff David Price)
Indians over Yankees (Yankees mojo runs out)
Jays over Mariners (Jays too much pitching for Seattle)
Indians over Jays (It hurts, but we lose on a late Edwing)

Indians over Cubs (Making up for blowing the 3-1 lead last year)

NL MVP: Bryce Harper (Big bounce back year)
AL MVP: Jose Altuve (over Trout & Donaldson)
NL CY: Clayton Kershaw (I know, going out on a limb)
AL CY: Danny Duffy (Small bright spot for a weak KC team this year)
NL ROY: Julio Urias (Edging out Dansby Swanson)
AL ROY: Andrew Benintendi

Blue Jays
HR: Kendrys Morales
WAR: Josh Donaldson
ROY: Danny Barnes (not expecting a lot of young help this year, since Pompey isn't eligible)
1st DFA: Justin Smoak (Pearce & Bautista end up covering 1B not long in to the season)
