A rare spring win for our Jays.

Darrell Ceciliani’s grand slam got us a spring win. He also had our other extra base hit, a triple.

Pitchers:

  • Marco Estrada: 3.2 innings, 1 hits, 2 walks, 3 runs, 2 earned, 2 strikeouts, 1 home run. He only gave up the one hit, unfortunately it was a 3-run homer. His first 2 innings were nice and quick. In the third he gave up a 1-out walk and a batter reached on catcher interference, then Howie Kendrick homered. He got the first 2 outs of the 4th inning.
  • Bo Schultz got the 3rd out of the 4th inning. But he had troubles in the 5th, giving up 3 hits, 1 home run, 2 runs, 1 earned (a Ryan Goins error caused the other). Bo is going to have to put together some good appearances if he’s going to make the team.
  • Aaron Loup: Got the last 2 outs of the 5th and the first 2 outs of the 6th, without allowing a base runner.
  • Ryan Tepera: Also got 4 outs, giving up a walk.
  • Bret Oberholtzer: 1 inning, 1 hit, 1 k.
  • Matt Dermody: 1 inning, 1 hit.

Batters:

  • Kevin Pillar: 0 for 4, k. .355.
  • Russell Martin: 0 for 4, k. .182.
  • Troy Tulowitzki: 1 for 1, 2 walks. .200.
  • Kendrys Morales: 1 for 4. .440.
  • Salty: 0 for 2, 2 k. .273.
  • Ezequiel Carrera: 1 for 2, 2 walks. .261.
  • Darrell Ceciliani: 2 for 4, home run, triple, 5 RBI, 1 k. .278.
  • Darwin Barney: 1 for 3. .308.
  • Ryan Goins: 1 for 2, walk. .188.
