Happy Saturday. Today’s game is actually on TV.
I felt bad for Marcus Stroman yesterday. It seemed to me that he had a lot of bad luck in that first inning. It was a very good game to watch. I really love how the Latin American teams have such a good time playing the game. I wish the MLB would forget the stupid ‘unwritten rules’ and start having fun.
There has been a bunch of good news coming out of the Jays camp. Devon Travis and Josh Donaldson have been playing in minor league games and doing well. Donaldson has hit a couple of home runs. Steve Pearce was taking balls at first base today and the plan is to have him play first tomorrow.
And Gibby said good things about Anthony Alford:
Gibby: Alford made more improvement year to year than anyone. Had my doubts, but looked terrific. Barrelled a ton of balls. #Bluejays #Jays

Mat Latos gets the start today. He’s had a couple of bad outings, so it would be nice ot see him get some outs today.
