We are getting close to the season, two games in Montreal and then real baseball.
There will be a pregame ceremony honoring Hall of Famer Tim Raines. He was a favorite of mine, so I’m glad we get to see the ceremony
There isn’t much for news. I’m sure you all know that Jose Bautista (going to a wedding) and Devon Travis (keeping him off the carpet in Montreal) won’t be at the weekend games.
The Blue Jays say that Aaron Sanchez’ blister is improving and he’ll be ready to make his first start of the season, but they are holding him out of his scheduled start tomorrow. He’ll do extra side work before hand.
Beyond that, we are still waiting for Angel Pagan to make a decision.
And:
Expect to see most of #BlueJays' "main" relievers tonight. Gibbons plans to work most of them in now, set up 2 days of rest before opener
