The Jays host the Rays today and it is on Sportsnet.

There are little bits of Jays news:

• Gregor Chisholm mentioned the slight possibility that the Jays could sign Angel Pagan....or at least I got a ‘score alert’ telling me that. In reality Chisholm actually says “a fit between the two sides doesn’t seem likely”. I never understand why they won’t just commit to Pompey but they won’t. It isn’t like he could be all that much worse than Ezequiel Carrera.
• Gibby found he had to tell the media that the trip to Vegas for the UFC fight, taken by Josh Donaldson and Aaron Sanchez, was approved by the team. Gibby, as always, had the best line:

Worrying about players taking a day away from Spring Training is just silly.

• There is also a note that Lourdes Gurriel ‘tweaked a hamstring’, but should be ready to play soon.

Tulo gets his first game action today. And we get to watch Rowdy Tellez at first base again. Minus Elmore, it is a pretty good lineup.
