I'm taking a day away.....playing geek, going to the Calgary Comic Expo and going to see Kevin Smith talk this evening. I'm going to wear my tee shirt that says "Yes the Jays suck, no I don't want to talk about it".
We have Francisco Liriano going today. His first start of the season was terrible, but the last three have been very good, 17.1 innings, 14 hits, 4 earned, 7 walks and 18 strikeouts. Unfortunately I don't think he's likely to throw a complete game.
It's funny, at the start of the season, we couldn't hit. But the offense seems to be coming around. Now the bullpen has fallen apart. How much you wanna bet that, when the bullpen gets it back together, the starting rotation will lose it.
Matt Andriese starts for the Rays. He has a 3.86 ERA in 4 starts. He's thrown 21 innings, allowed 22 hits, 5 home runs, 7 walks and 18 strikeouts.

Maybe win one. What say? It's also my oldest son's birthday, maybe win as a present for him. He's appreciate it. And so would I.
