This past week was Rehab Week in Dunedin, with three major league Blue Jays playing rehab games down in the warm Florida weather. Troy Tulowitzki and Josh Donaldson, who are heading back up to Toronto tonight, played a couple games with the D-Jays while J.A. Happ started a game last night and is on his path to recovery. On this week’s Around The Nest host Jesse Goldberg-Strassler will check in with Dunedin broadcaster Jim Tarabocchia on how those three looked beyond the boxscore.

Beyond the rehabbers there were a lot of happenings around the Blue Jays minor league system this week, and Matt W recapped the last few days’ worth of pitching performances here. Jesse fills us with the rest in this episode’s description:

One week ago, Rowdy Tellez knocked a game-winning homer in the 13th inning to make a winner of Ian Parmley. Since then, Dwight Smith, Jr. has gone up and down and Mat Latos looked strong in Georgia; the Fisher Cats reeled off four straight wins while Andrew Guillotte sizzled in his Double-A debut; Conor Fisk stepped up for Dunedin, where the D-Jays are locked in a battle for the top of the FSL North Division; and Justin Maese tossed his third complete game, with the sizzling Lugnuts pulling off come-from-behind rallies in the rain. It's another week of insights and outlooks with the voices of the Blue Jays' system!

Week 7 of Around The Nest broadcasts live today from 4:00 to 4:30 pm Eastern. Click here for the live stream or to listen to the archive after the broadcast.
