I guess hoping for the same results as yesterday would be overly hopeful?

We are facing former Jays prospect Asher Woje....just look in the lineup to see how his name is spelled. Asher had a 1.40 ERA in 5 Triple-A starts this year. In 25.2 innings he allowed 16 hits, 6 walks and 29 strikeouts.

Asher was part of the trade that originally brought J.A. Happ to the Jays. Course we traded Happ to the Mariners in 2015 and then signed him as a free agent before the 2016 season.

There is some news:

  • Liriano will start Friday, Biagini Saturday and Stroman Sunday.
  • Steve Pearce is a long way from returning. At least 2 more weeks.
  • Chris Coghlan's back feels better today.
