The Blue Jays have officially activated J.A. Happ, and, again no surprise, Dominic Leone is on his way to Buffalo.
Leone has a 4.01 ERA in 21 games with the Jays. In 24.2 innings, he’s allowed 20 hits, 3 homers, 10 walks and 25 strikeouts. He has a 4.15 FIP. Leone is second on the team in relief innings pitched, 4.2 innings behind Ryan Tepera.
Happ made 3 starts before going on the DL. He has a 4.50 ERA in 16 innings. He’s allowed 17 hits, 4 home runs, 0 walks with 20 strikeouts. He pitched 3 innings for Dunedin, in his one rehab start, giving 7 hits, 3 earned, no walks with 3 strikeouts.
He’ll be limited to about 75 pitches tonight.
Tonight’s lineup, the same on that scored 2 touchdowns and a field goal last night.
