Game #66 GameThread: White Sox @ Blue Jays

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The White Sox are in town to face the Jays. And my son is in Toronto to see the games. Course, he doesn't bring his dad, but, if you are at the game, look for a red headed guy, with a beard, who looks a fair bit like me and say 'Hi Dwight'. If you get the wrong person, just enjoy the confusion it causes.

It would be nice to get to .500 this time. We seem to get to a game below .500 and then lose

Pearce is back on the roster and in today's lineup. I'm hoping they platoon Pearce and Smith. Coghlan goes to the D, he hasn't played in the last week, but I figured it was because he wasn't hitting.

In other injury news: Aaron Sanchez says he is ready to start throwing from a mound. I'd imagine we won't see him until after the All-Star break at very best.

Joe Biagini has been terrific since becoming a starter (well he was terrific in the pen too). I thought that Gibby left him in a little too long in his last start.

Jose Quintana has had a rough time of it. I hope that continues tonight.

As always, remember we have rules around there. Mostly it's "don't be terrible". If a moderator ask you to stop doing something, please stop. Remember losing makes Tom a wee bit grumpy. Also don't debate the rules in the thread. Send Tom a note instead (he doesn't get near enough email).
