Why not win and split the series?
It doesn't feel like a series we could split, It seems like we played enough bad baseball that there is no way we could have won a game.
I expected a roster move this morning, I guess the team has decided that Valdez taking those 4 innings has given the rest of the pen enough of a break.
We get to watch two struggling pitchers today. Liriano's had a rough season, he's been on the DL or just ineffective. I'm hoping the neck issue had resolved itself. And Fister has also been either hurt or crappy, pitching in 4 games, 3 starts, with a 6.75 ERA. Though the Jays seem to be the answer to a crappy ERA.
We have Carrera in CF (that ought to be worth the price of admission right there) and Goins at short, with Pillar and Tulo getting a day off.
