A win would be nice.

Today's moves surprised me.

Montero is an offensive upgrade at backup catcher. Not a bad move, but I'm surprised we are adding.

Sparkman gone after two appearances? I think there is something wrong with your scouting if you allow two appearances to change you mind about a player. Bolsinger's back. He's been DFAed twice this season. I wonder what the record for times DFAed by one team in one season would be?

Bolsinger has a 5.61 ERA 5 starts with the Jays this year. The strange thing is the 19 walks in 25.2 innings. Walks haven't been that big a problem for him in the past. At Buffalo, he's been great, 1.60 ERA in 33.2 innings. Welcome back Mike.

We have a few of the regulars out today. Pillar, I sure, can use the break, but Carrera in CF is not optimum. Tulo can likely use the break too. And it will, most like, be our last look at Luke Maile for awhile.

As always, remember we have rules around there. Mostly it's "don't be terrible". If a moderator ask you to stop doing something, please stop. Remember losing makes Tom a wee bit grumpy. Also don't debate the rules in the thread. Send Tom a note instead (he doesn't get near enough email).
