Samad Taylor is in a 19 year old second baseman in Class A Short season. He was a 10th round draft pick in 2016. He is batting .297/.344/.432 in 235 plate appearances.
Thomas Pannone is a 22 year old left handed starting pitcher in Double A. He has a 1.96 ERA this year in 110 IP, with 120 SOs. He is holding opponents to a .197 average with a 0.95 WHIP. Here’s a bit more of a detailed report on him.
Joe’s wife seems to be really happy with the trade.
